New service

Aged care support that keeps you at home, and in charge

QCare now supports older Australians across Cairns and Far North Queensland — with the same integrated, one-provider approach we've offered NDIS participants for years.

Why we're doing this

Ageing well shouldn't mean navigating alone

Aged care has its own language: assessments, classifications, packages, co-contributions. We already spend our days translating that kind of system for NDIS participants — so families kept asking us to help with Mum and Dad too.

Now we do. Whether you're arranging support for yourself, or you're an adult child trying to organise care from another suburb (or another state), you get one contact who knows the whole picture.

Funding pathways

However your care is funded, we can work with it

Support at Home

The Australian Government's in-home aged care program. We help you understand your classification and budget, then deliver the day-to-day supports that keep you at home.

Home Care Packages

Already have a package (Level 1–4)? We can deliver supports under it and coordinate the other providers in your plan.

CHSP — entry-level support

A little help goes a long way. Domestic assistance, transport, social support and personal care for people who don't need a full package yet.

Privately funded support

No assessment, no waiting list. Purchase support directly at agreed hourly rates — ideal while waiting for funding, or to top up an existing package.

Not sure which one applies to you? That's normal — and it's exactly the sort of question we're happy to answer over the phone.

What we can help with

Practical, everyday support

Delivered in your home and community by workers who turn up when they say they will.

Personal care

Showering, dressing, grooming and continence support delivered respectfully by consistent workers.

Domestic assistance

Cleaning, laundry, linen and light home maintenance so the house stays safe and comfortable.

Meals & shopping

Meal preparation, nutrition support and help with the weekly shop.

Transport & outings

Appointments, errands and getting out into the community — not just medical trips.

Social support & respite

Companionship, group activities and planned respite that gives family carers a genuine break.

Allied health liaison

Coordinating physio, OT, podiatry and nursing so recommendations actually get implemented.
